  • 1965 – Region 5 MVP (basketball)

  • 1966 – Nashville Post 82 Baseball – state champions, regional champions, American Legion World Series (Orangeburg, SC)

  • Athletic scholarship to Belmont University – (baseball and basketball)

  • Athletics Hall of Fame – DuPont High School and Belmont University

  • 1969 – 2nd round draft pick of Seattle Pilots

  • 7 years professional baseball

  • 4 years Major League pitcher with Milwaukee Brewers

  • Milwaukee Brewers Rookie Pitcher of the Year – 1972

  • Committee member – Tennessee American Legion Baseball

  • Coaching – 10 years high school experience, 25 years summer college league and Legion teams

  • 30 plus years private pitching instruction – PRO-active Pitching Initiative
