Jeremy Hazelbaker
Meet Jeremy Hazelbaker, one of the baseball and softball trainers and operations manager at On Deck.
Jeremy was born and raised in Selma, Indiana, and moved to Sumner County in 2018. He was a three-year starter for Ball State University and an All-American before being drafted in the 4th round in his junior year by the Boston Red Sox. From 2009 to 2015, he played minor-league baseball before making his Big League debut.
On the second day of the 2016 season, Jeremy made his major league debut with the St. Louis Cardinals, and on the 3rd day, he hit his first Major League home run. The following year, he went on to play for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Since 2009, he has played in 7 countries, including Australia and South Korea. He played 11 professional seasons and is now enjoying his home in Tennessee with his wife, son, and dogs.
